Department of Treasury-Office of the
Comptroller of the Currency (“OCC”),
has selected HiSoftware’s Web Quality
and Accessibility product line to be
utilized for accessibility testing and
remediation of OCC Web sites and Web
based applications. Through this
agreement, HiSoftware Company’s
desktop solutions AccVerify and
AccRepair will be used to evaluate and
remediate intranet and Internet Web
sites for conformance with Section 508
and Web content quality standards. In
addition to “out-of-the-box” testing
and reporting for Accessibility,
Privacy, Metadata and Usability
standards, these solutions allow an
organization’s experts and/or policy
managers to define content policies
and to validate compliance with these
policies. AccVerify and AccRepair also
provide Webmasters and Content
Managers with the necessary tools to
test and remediate existing content
and content in development for
conformance. OCC Webmasters will be
using HiSoftware solutions to create
and manage sites that are accessible
and Section 508 compliant to define
content policies and to validate
compliance with these policies.
