What is Pervasive
Accessibility?
It is content creation that includes
accessibility as part of the overall
development, quality assurance, and the
deployment process. HiSoftware desktop
software enables you to manage
information and reduces the complexities
for creating and maintaining accessible
content. Our enterprise solutions enable
integration into every aspect of the
content delivery process making
accessibility part of every content
management & deployment system. Our
server based solutions provide complete
accessibility status of content,
templates, dynamic sites and any other
web bound content supported. It extends
the Quality Assurance process by
providing timely alerts to accessibility
workers when a page or site is not in
compliance and this drives down costs as
well as dramatically improves customer
experience.
HiSoftware’s Web site accessibility
solutions, AccVerify, AccRepair,
AccMonitor Server, and
AccessibilityWATCH, assist organizations
in achieving and maintaining accessible
Web sites. These solutions, available as
desktop applications and as automated
server solutions, help organizations
develop long-term strategies to achieve
Web content accessibility. They allow
multiple users to work collaboratively
on Web site accessibility-resulting in
reductions in time and resources
allocated to accessibility.
HiSoftware’s accessibility solutions
enhance the accessibility testing
workflow with a flexible workspace that
can be customized to maximize
productivity for both designers and
Quality Assurance teams. A set-up wizard
allows users to easily configure
software to accelerate testing and
remediation work and to ensure a common
experience in testing across Web sites
and applications. The “Acc” product
families’ open architecture and
extensible Application Program
Interface, “API”, allow developers to
integrate these solutions into their Web
site publishing or testing architectures
and application development environments
such as Microsoft Corporation’s Visual
Studio.NET®. Developers can receive
sample applications for completing this
type of integration. One example is the
AccVerify Publisher for Microsoft Office
XP that automates the creation of
accessible HTML from Microsoft Office
Applications.
