HiSoftware
Releases Hi-Stats® 2004 - Extended
Enterprise Database Support Provides
Enhanced Scalability
CONCORD, NH –
April 23, 2004 – HiSoftware, Inc., the
leader in enterprise content quality
management solutions, announced today
the release of the 2004 version of
it’s enterprise Web visitor tracking
software, Hi-Stats®. This newest
version provides a unique scalable
edge for any size or type of company
that wants to track who is coming in
and out of their website and what they
are doing while they are there. To
stay competitive online, it has become
essential for companies to know how
visitors are using their websites and
what types of information they are
accessing. Getting to “know your
customer” is perhaps one of the most
essential ingredients to a successful
and secure business. Despite all of
the advantages of marketing online,
the biggest disadvantage may be never
knowing to whom you are actually
selling and what is really enticing
them to buy—Hi-Stats® 2004 provides
the tools necessary to resolve this
disconnect between your customer and
your company. In addition to complete
software solutions, HiSoftware also
provides Professional Services to
assist customers in developing and
deploying strategies to manage their
online presence.
Executives can use the information
from Hi-Stats® 2004 to significantly
enhance and accelerate the return on
the initial investments made in online
marketing tools. The 2004 release of
Hi-Stats® introduces an enterprise
scalable architecture to serve the
largest websites around the globe, at
a price appropriate to the small
business. Hi-Stats® 2004 has broadened
its scope by providing NEW support for
all of advanced servers including
Microsoft SQL Server™, IBM DB2®,
Oracle, and other standards compliant
database servers, but it still retains
reporting capabilities that meet the
needs of website owners ranging from
the Internet entrepreneur to the
largest enterprise customer.
The 2004 release of Hi-Stats® provides
”out of the box” integration with
Enterprise back end data storage
systems. This gives the ability to
empower enterprises to achieve better
results by weighing risk and brand
management issues along with sales
objectives, by giving a complete view
of the “traffic” coming in and out of
their site. Hi-Stats® 2004 can
generate website traffic reports on
demand that can give insight on
consumer trends by pulling information
out of the data stores. Reports
generated by the Hi-Stats® present
data in clear easy-to-read tables
(like a spreadsheet), that are
delivered in accessible Industry
Standard HTML. The reports are easily
read and navigated, and aren’t just
shown to the user but fully explained
by using the Help system within the
program. The traffic reports can be
set for emailing or saved to disk,
which provides the much desired
“user-friendly” tool that is appealing
to senior managers, IT and marketing
teams alike, and it does this without
sacrificing the power or integrity of
the product.
Not only are the website traffic
reports beneficial to online marketing
programs, but also such reports use
Web traffic analysis data to help
provide solutions to site defects and
compliance issues, while providing
accurate and actionable information
required so that enterprise leaders
can make secure business decisions.
Hi-Stats® can be used along with
HiSoftware’s site management solutions
to correlate user behavior with
content and transaction defects and
privacy and regulatory non-compliance,
providing a complete view to the
issues that impact online business
success.
Standard reports include:
-
Visitor
behavior: Analyzes how visitors find
your site, which pages generate the
heaviest traffic, and where you
might be losing customers. Specific
reports trace new and repeat
visitors by region, average number
of requests and domain-tracking.
-
Site statistics:
This includes URLs visited,
resources accessed, total hits, size
of total downloads, referring URLs,
and a log of keywords and keyword
phrases.
-
Errors: Provides
statistics on failed URLs, hits and
browser errors.
-
Advertising
campaign reporting: Reports on views
and clicks and affiliate link
tracking.
“The 2004 release
of Hi-Stats® provides a scalable Web
analytics solution that supplies
essential eBusiness metrics and Web
traffic data to every person within
the organization that needs this time
sensitive customer information,” said
Robert B. Yonaitis, HiSoftware Company
President and CEO. “The newest release
extends the flexibility and power of
Hi-Stats® and provides users with the
ability to combine data from multiple
sources.”
